Summer Camp

GENERAL INFORMATION

Day Camp
  • Who Can Come?  Any youth 4-17 years old at the time of camp, regardless of church affiliation, race, and background.  Children must be potty-trained.  There is limited availability, so register early!

  • Camp Arrival and Dismissal:  Sign-in will begin at promptly at 9 am each day and your child will be directed or escorted to the morning opening ceremonies.  All children must be registered and have a waiver signed by a legal guardian to attend.  Participants will need to be picked up no later than 2 pm each day.  We have church service Tuesday-Friday and cannot be late!  All children must be signed out by approved parties to be released.

  • Facilities:  Campers will be split up into 4 age groups: 4-6 year olds, 7-9 year olds,  10-12 year olds, and 13+ year olds.  We will work in these groups during the Bible Lesson, Service Project, Craft Time, and Activity Time.  Otherwise, we will come together in one large group.  Our facilities include a large dining area, a sanctuary, a covered outdoor patio, and a large outdoor area for games.

  • Typical Day at Camp:

    • 9:00  Opening

    • 9:15  Music & Movement

    • 9:45   Bible Lesson

    • 10:45  Snack Time

    • 11:00  Drama

    • 11:30  Service/Craft/Activity

    • 12:30  Lunch

    • 1:00  Service/Craft/Activity

    • 1:50   Closing

  • Meals:  Please have your child eat breakfast before arriving.  We will provide snacks and lunch.  Should your child have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know these upon registering.  Our meals are nutritious, delicious, and snacks even fit our theme to reinforce the message.

  • What to Bring:  Please have your child wear sensible clothes that are both modest and durable.  Children will be playing outsides at times, as well as making crafts, so please be sure they are in clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.  We prefer shoes that they can safely play in, as well.  If your child has a Bible, we encourage campers to bring them!  Please do not have your child bring any other personal items or toys from home.  We do not wish for any items to get lost or broken.  We will have so much fun and be so busy, they aren't even needed.  If your child will need any medication during camp times, please bring along in their prescribed packaging inside a ziplock baggie.  We will ensure our Camp Nurse receives it and administers medication, as needed.
